o On December 19th, The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE) issued an announcement of interim amendment to the public notice on trade of strategic items that adds 29 items under U.S. financial sanction to the list of catch-all controls against Russia. 

o With the amendment, the number of items requiring catch-all license as per Annex 2-2 will be expanded from 1,402 to 1,431 (The items added in the amendment include lubricant additives, semiconductor manufacturing equipment, machine tools, etc.).
